Our eTwinning project earned the European prize
We already wrote an article about our international eTwinning project “Alohomora! Unlocking borders” which earned some awards:
- First it obtained the Quality Label;
- Then – European Quality Label;
- After that – “Project of the year” award;
- Now it finally earned the highest award – European Prize.
This award impressed us more than anything. Only 16 projects among 860 from 45 countries earned the European Prize, and only 4 of them were made by Ukrainian teachers and students. In the category of 7-11 years “Alohomora!” took the second place. However, our projects earned ALL possible awards – a sign of how properly students worked.
We are happy to congratulate Olga Volodymyrivna Puga and her students who really deserved such high recognition!
In regard to this achievement, “Ukrainian New School” project held an interview with Olga Volodymyrivna – “Like in Harry Potter: creative English language lessons by a teacher from Kyiv” (link). This interview is dedicated to our international eTwinning projects, which in Sviatoshyn gymnasium are a great part of learning English and arts.
These days Sviatoshyn gymnasium (Foreign languages and Culture and Time departments in particular) takes part in several international projects. You can find news about them on our Facebook page.
